This project was carried out with the concept that the entire city of New York, where I live, serves as an exhibition space. By placing my artworks in various locations and observing people's reactions, I discovered that the same piece can be interpreted in many different ways by different individuals.
I chose the word "find" and used various objects around me to construct its letters. Among these objects, I found a meaningful connection between a ring and the word "find."
People live their lives searching for someone to love. Some have already found their loved one, others are still searching, and some may have given up. I explored these themes by posing questions related to love and marriage in spaces associated with these concepts.
I chose the vibrant red color of the iconic ring case from the brand most commonly associated with wedding rings. When people open the ring case, the phrase "Did you find the one?" pops out. And I made the rings my myself as well!
